Carol Ramirez, LCSW, Program Director

Carol Ramirez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, joined Lilliput Children's Services in 1994. She worked a Social Worker, Clinical Supervisor, Program Director, and is now serving as the Assistant Director since June 2007. Carol developed several agency training modules and published an article on the complexity of transracial placements, as well as the importance of maintaining culture.

She has been committed to assuring the provision of bilingual services to Latino families which Lilliput serves. Carol has served as an adoption consultant for other foster family agencies in Northern California, and has assisted in developing and enhancing public-private partnerships to facilitate permanency through adoption for foster children.

Carol holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Masters in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento.
