November is National Adoption Month. Throughout the month,
adoption day events will take place across the nation as organizers
unite to raise awareness about domestic adoption opportunities. |

Sacramento County Adoption Day will be held on
Saturday, November 17, 2007.
To celebrate this occasion, Lilliput Children's Services will join with
representatives from the Sacramento County Department of Health and
Human Services Adoptions Programs, Soroptimists International of
Greater Sacramento, Sacramento County Sheriff's Department and
Superior
Court of California to host a celebratory event for the families.
Once the families have completed their adoptions, they will have
the opportunity to join other families at the reception. There will be
refreshments and the adopted children and siblings of the adoptee will receive
gift bags. In addition, the family will receive a free family portrait. Dinger
from the Sacramento River Cats will be there to entertain the children along with
