Home > Resources > Adoption Resource Library Adoption Resource LibraryLilliput's Adoption Resource Library is made possible through a grant from the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services. Lilliput's Adoption Resource Library loans resource materials (books and videos), FREE of charge, to all birth parents, adoptees, and adoptive parents residing in Sacramento County and to families who are living outside of Sacramento but have adopted a dependent child from Sacramento County. Mental health professionals may also use this resource library. If you do not qualify, we would be happy to send you a list of recommended adoption books. Library books may be checked out for three weeks and videos for two weeks. It is the responsibility of the user to return the materials on time and in good condition. Failure to do so may result in loss of library privileges. If an item is lost or damaged, the user will be billed the replacement cost of the item, plus shipping and handling charges. After filling out the Adoption Resource Library Card Application either online or at our Sacramento office (see #2 below), you will be able to start checking out materials immediately. NOTE: You only need to fill out an application once in order to have library privileges. You can check out resource materials with any of the following methods:
