Lilliput's Kinship Program Appears on Cover of Sacramento Bee's Metro Section

The Sacramento Bee published a Metro section cover story with an in-depth article about Lilliput's Kinship program. It's very informative.

Lilliput Receives Commendations During Accreditation

Lilliput is a member agency of the California Alliance of Child and Family Services (http://www.cacfs.org/links-1.asp). As a member, Lilliput adheres to a variety of standards that are higher than state licensing requirements. In June 2006, Lilliput went through the re-accreditation process, and received accreditation through September 2010. Lilliput had no program deficiencies during the accreditation and received commendations in several areas. Included in the report: “[Lilliput] has a strong commitment to training staff and foster families. The accreditation reviewer was impressed by the warm atmosphere, the progress of children and the good feelings of the family for their Lilliput experience.” The reviewers also commended Lilliput for its “staff qualification and the attention given to the children’s Life Books and connection with birth families”. Lilliput is acknowledged as being a leader in providing foster care and adoption services.

2003-2004 Golden Web Award

Lilliput's website won a 2003-2004 Golden Web Award. This award is presented by the International Association of Webmasters and Designers "in recognition of creativity, integrity, and excellence on the Web."
 

APC Web Development Excellence Award for 2003

Lilliput.org received notification that it has met the strict criteria and has been awarded the 2003 Web Development Excellence Award from APC because of our "unique graphics and design that fits [our] content well. A really pretty site!" We were also informed that our site is "certified as a legitimate leader in web development excellence using advanced programming concepts in design, coding, and graphics."

American Association of Webmasters Gold Award

Top Gold Design Prestige Award

"We have reviewed your site. Very nice & professional design and concept. Attractive subject (adoptions) and good use of graphics. You win our Prestige award!"

We certainly appreciate this award (all the way from Canada) and we really like the customized award logo just for us!

 

Design Excellence Award

This website has been awarded the bronze Design Excellence Award from CyberWeb3 for "extremely unique graphics including some cool animations and several interactive features."

2001-2002 Golden Web Award

Lilliput's website won the 2001-2002 Golden Web Award! This award is presented by the International Association of Webmasters and Designers because this site's "web design, originality and content have achieved levels of excellence."

Lilliput Receives Small Nonprofit of the Year Award

The Sacramento Chamber of Commerce recognized Lilliput Children's Services as the "Small Nonprofit Business of the Year." At a June 2001 awards banquet, Bill Fuser (Executive Director at the time) accepted the award on behalf of the agency. The award, a plaque and certificate signed by State Senator Deborah Ortiz, Assembly Member Darrell Steinberg and Sacramento County Board of Supervisor Roger Dickinson is now proudly displayed in the Sacramento office.
