"It Takes a Village" -- An adoption support group for transracially adoptive families of African-American, African, or Latino children.
There is also a structured children's group for ages 2-12 years that meets and engages in art, film, and music activities to celebrate African, African-American, and Latino culture. Open to the community; please RSVP with Cheryle L. Roberts, LCSW, at (916) 923-5444.

Supporting Parents Adopting At-Risk Kids

Monthly Parent Support Group Meetings to "SPAARK" education, empowerment, and support for each other. Free supervised children's program and dinner will be provided, so RSVP is mandatory. Please contact Lisa Fortino at (916) 606-6230 to RSVP and for more information.

Proud Parents” -- An adoption support group for gay and lesbian parents who have adopted or are considering adoption.
