0028 – Program Supervisor – Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Under the supervision of a Program Director, the Program Supervisor provides supervision and professional leadership to a team comprised of various levels of program and administrative staff, and ensures program goals align with the agency strategic goals. Supervisor activities include: Organize workflow and priorities; Assign work among employees; Maintain quality/quantity standards regarding program performance and outcomes; Interpret operating policies and procedures; Participate in hiring process; Train employees; Evaluate employee performance; Engages in continuous quality improvement of the program. After hours availability in case of staff and/or client emergencies. The ideal candidate should be flexible, dynamic and punctual with demonstrated skills in supervision, communication, training, program administration and ability to work on some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree from an accredited school of Social Work, LCSW preferred. Must have a minimum of two years of adoption experience. Resource Family (formerly known as foster care) experience is preferred. Must meet all required health screening, drug testing, criminal record clearances. Must possess a valid California Driver License, insurance and have an acceptable DMV record and their own, reliable transportation.

0226 – Bilingual MSW Social Worker (Conv/RFA) – Full-Time (40 hours per week)
 
Under the supervision of a Program Supervisor, our Master’s level Social Workers provide services in our Conversion and RFA programs. Working with our county partners, Social Workers evaluate resource families, including foster families, kin caregivers and extended family members to find safe and loving homes for children throughout California. Using the SAFE format, they complete Adoption Home Studies, RFA Psychosocial Assessments, and conduct trainings to both large and small groups. They evaluate the psychological, physical, social and emotional factors present in applicants and the environmental factors in the applicant’s home. The ideal candidate will effectively apply casework knowledge and skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to engage and establish rapport with multi- and inter-generational families. The candidate should be flexible, dynamic and punctual, with the ability to work independently and on some evenings/weekends.
 
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work required. Experience in adoption or foster care and child welfare preferred. Must be able to work independently. Bilingual (Spanish) is required. Must meet all required health screening, drug testing, criminal record clearances.
