0358 – MSW Social Worker (RFA Kin) – Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Under the supervision of a Program Supervisor, our Master’s level Social Workers provide services in our RFA Program (formerly known as foster care). They evaluate the psychological, physical, social and emotional factors present in applicants and the environmental factors in the applicant’s home. The ideal candidate will effectively apply casework knowledge and skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to engage and establish rapport with multi- and inter-generational families. The candidate should be flexible, dynamic and punctual, with the ability to work independently and on some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work required. Two years’ experience in child welfare and foster care is desired. Must be able to work independently. Must meet all required health screening, drug testing, criminal record clearances. Must possess a valid California Driver License, insurance and have an acceptable DMV record and their own, reliable transportation.

Additional Qualifications: Bilingual/ Spanish preferred

0355- Office Assistant/Play Care provider – Full-Time/ (40 hours per week)

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Office Assistant performs a variety of administrative duties to support our Citrus Heights office.  The ideal Office Assistant is a motivated, quick learner, with great time management skills who can work independently, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities depending on the needs of a large office. They should have hands-on experience with all common office equipment such as a copier, fax machine and postage meter and have an understanding of basic office procedures. Front office experience is preferred.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Minimum of 6 months of administrative experience, preferably in a social service setting. Required to meet all required health screening, drug testing, and criminal record clearances. Must possess a valid California Driver License, insurance, and have an acceptable DMV record and their own reliable transportation.

0342– Bilingual Program Assistant/Play Care Provider – Full-Time (32 hours per week) 

Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, the Program Assistant performs a variety of administrative duties to our programs.  The candidate should be an experienced Program Assistant who is a motivated, quick learner who can work independently and prioritize a full workload. The candidate will have excellent time management skills with the ability to follow through to completion on all tasks with minimal supervision, and ability to use available resources for problem solving. On an as needed basis, the candidate will provide a welcoming, safe and nurturing environment for children in a play care setting; supervising and engaging children in recreational activities and ensuring all children are checked in and out of play care according to agency protocols. Knowledge of positive discipline and basic group/classroom management techniques, and demonstrated patience and flexibility when working with children will be required.

Qualifications: Bilingual (Spanish) required. Must have at least 2 years of administrative experience in a social services setting. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher. Experience with FAMCare database systems or other similar database software preferred.
