Under the supervision of a Program Supervisor, our Master’s level Social Workers provide services in our RFA Program (formerly known as foster care). Working with our county partners, social workers evaluate resource families using the SAFE format and conduct trainings to both large and small groups. They evaluate the psychological, physical, social and emotional factors present in applicants and the environmental factors in the applicant’s home. The ideal candidate will effectively apply casework knowledge and skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to engage and establish rapport with multi- and inter-generational families. The candidate should be flexible, dynamic and punctual, with the ability to work independently and on some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work required. Two years’ experience in child welfare and foster care is desired. Must be able to work independently. Must meet all required health screening, drug testing, criminal record clearances. Must possess a valid California Driver License, insurance and have an acceptable DMV record and their own, reliable transportation.

Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, the BSW Social Worker conducts home based case management services for families; develops, coordinates and supervises family service plans; assesses and identifies families’ needs; and connects families to available resources. The BSW Social Worker will conduct trainings and informational sessions to both large and small groups.  Social Workers effectively apply casework knowledge and skills and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to engage and establish rapport with multi- and inter-generational families.

Under the supervision of the Field Administrative Coordinator, the Play Care Provider will have experience babysitting or working in a child care facility and is flexible, punctual, reliable and dynamic, with the ability to provide a welcoming, safe and nurturing environment for children in a play care setting.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of positive discipline and basic group/classroom management techniques and have demonstrated patience and encouraging approaches when working with children.

Social Worker (PAS) – Part-Time (20 hours/week)
South Sacramento

Under the supervision of a Program Supervisor, our Master’s level Social Workers provide services in our Post Adoption Services (PAS) programs. This position will work within Mendocino and Lake Counties. Candidate may reside anywhere in this geographic region and work remote from a home office.
Working with our county partners, PAS Social Workers support adoptive families as they continue to navigate unique challenges of their adoption journey. PAS Social Workers facilitate trainings and support groups for both children and parents, plan supportive events for adoptive families, assess the psychological, physical, social and emotional needs of post-adoptive families and offer crisis intervention support when needed. The successful candidate will effectively apply casework knowledge and skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to engage and establish rapport with multi- and inter-generational families.


Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work and experience in Adoption services and/or child welfare required. Ability to work independently and potentially remotely. 0325 – Clinical Supervisor – Part-Time 4 hours weekly / Independent Contractor - Santa Rosa

This unique opportunity will help us to provide high value Clinical Supervision services in the Sonoma County region. Our Clinical supervisor will provide direct Clinical supervision for Sonoma County social workers including group supervision and group trainings as needed. The successful candidate may provide periodic on-line clinical supervision to master’s level MSW and MFT interns.

 

There may also be an opportunity to plan, develop and implement necessary trainings for various agency programs as needed. The candidate should be flexible, dynamic and punctual, with the ability to work independently and on some evenings/weekends. 

Qualifications: Master’s Degree from an accredited school of Social Work, psychology or counseling. Candidate must possess and maintain a current and valid CA license as an LCSW; registration with the BBSE is required. Minimum of five years’ experience providing counseling/psychotherapy services required as well as experience providing clinical supervision to associate supervisees. Knowledge of child welfare and adult protection services is required. Must meet all required health screening, drug testing, and criminal record clearances. Must possess a valid California Driver License, insurance, and have an acceptable DMV record and their own reliable transportation.
