With over 60,000 children currently in foster care, there is no better time to deepen partnerships, share resources and increase our impact. We know this work is too big to accomplish alone, but together we can give even more children and families a chance to reach their full potential.

Lilliput will become a part of Wayfinder Family Services and we will continue to serve families across the state of California. This strategic partnership will build on the foundation of two highly successful organizations. With our shared resources, we will strengthen and expand our geographic footprint and service array statewide and achieve greater impact for years to come. Together, we will serve over 20,000 children and families across California.

We are also proud to share that we will be merging two very dynamic management teams and staffs. Miki Jordan, who has led Wayfinder for 14 years, will be our president and chief executive officer. Karen Alvord, who has worked for Lilliput for the last 30 years and led the organization as chief executive officer for the last 14 years, will assume the role of Wayfinder’s Executive Vice President and Chief Impact Officer. Our priority, as always, is to meet the needs of our children and families. We will continue to collaborate with our local communities and service providers to ensure a smooth transition.  Please visit wayfinderfamily.org/together to learn more about each organization’s impressive work and share in our excitement about this merger.

We look forward to your continued investment in our vision: an equitable world in which every child and family has the opportunity to reach their full potential. With a combined history of over 100 years, serving some of the most vulnerable children and families in our communities, we are grateful to have you by our side. Together, we will change the future.
